Performance Riverside and RCC’s Fine and Performing Arts Division are proud to host internationally renowned artist Justin Bower for our third annual Artist Talk and VIP Reception. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from this iconic artist, as he shares stories of his journey, his process, his vision, his artistic philosophy and what influences his creativity. Then head over to the RCC Quad Art Gallery where you will view a special exhibit of the artist’s work and enjoy a VIP Reception.

Justin Bower explores the concept of identity in a post-human society through his large-scale oil paintings. His futuristic paintings question the human condition as pixelated portraits become a framework for the artist to consider the effects of the ever-evolving world around us.

Mr. Bower is a studio artist based in Los Angeles, with paintings in notable collections such as the Eugenio Lopez Collection, the Carlos Slim Collection, The Weisman Art Foundation, and the Cosmopolitan Collection in Las Vegas. Additionally, Bower has had museum solo shows at MOAH, the Pomona Art Museum, and the Riverside Art Museum.
