Nicknamed “Anthropology in Motion,” Ballet Folklorico LEYENDA is an award-winning dance troupe that performs stylized interpretations of traditional dances from various regions of Mexico. Their emotionally captivating and eye-catchingly colorful performances have appeared on television, in film and on stages throughout the region and internationally.

Just in time for the holidays, this Ballet Folklorico LEYENDA performance called Sueño Navideño is a perfect event to attend as a family! At a Mexican hacienda the community comes together to celebrate the holidays. Children dance and break a traditional piñata, and when they are put to bed, toys come to life and dance in their dreams. While the children sleep, the adults continue to receive relatives from far away parts of Mexico, with each family sharing dances from their region.
